Title: My Lonely Star Prologue
Pairing: 2min / Onkey
Genre: Romance with some angst?
Rating: PG (will not go higher)
Summary: Taemin was a dim star, invisible in the sky, until Minho came around and lit his dream up.
Inspiration: (oh i can't put the picture up here, but that's not important)
A/N: I didn’t expect it to start this way, actually. Prologue becomes two piece of critical information that you need to know before reading. First fic ever! Shall try. I am very sorry if this is super fail. And also the fact that this whole thing, is unedited and unchecked for errors, aka, totally un-beta-ed. so i'm super sorry if you can't stand the english. i can't exactly write fanfics in chinese so yeah.
Prologue I
Taemin has always been afraid to stand on stage. He totally feared it. The first time he stood on stage was a school prize presentation ceremony, and the moment he stepped on, and looked down at the audience his eyes went wide. His legs totally went numb and he gulped and …
The audience looked so far away, and so many and… Why the hell is the stage so high!!!!!!!!!!!?????????
A thousand pair of eyes stared. A hundred cameras flashed. Tens of meters away were his parents.
Relax. The stage is just a raised platform of less than 1m high.
He looked down at the crowd. Oh no. There are just too many heads moving and swarming and…
If not because of his teacher pushing him from behind, he would never have taken another step. But he had to walk forwards and take his cert. He practically stumbled forward with stiff and trembling steps and literally run off the stage nearly slipping and tripping over his feet, earning a few sniggers from the audience
From then on, he never stood on the stage again, and never wanted to participate in any performance again. He just wanted to keep his feet at sea level. He pretty much had his wish granted but…
Who knew that wishes didn’t last forever.
Prologue II
Taemin started dancing since he was 8. He loved to move his body by the beat, clicking his shoulders, moving through complicated and seemingly impossible steps that flowed so smoothly on him. He totally loved sweating his tiredness and stress and worries out with a good beat and a pair of good shoes was all of that he needed.
Then he was the best dancer easily.
In his home.
Truth is, he was the only dancer in the house. His mother had seen him dancing in front of the TV and encouraged him to join a dance class to hone him, but Taemin, somehow never allowed nor went for a single class. He knew dance classes eventually led to the stage and there was no way that’s going to happen.
No way at all. Glossophobia was the term.
But as we all know. Someday we have to face our fears.
So did Taemin.
